Who we Are
The Stone Collective is an initiative founded by Albion Stone, Hutton Stone, Lundhs, Paye, and The Stonemasonry Company. We are a group of industry leaders committed to promoting stone as the sustainable, low-carbon, load-bearing building material for the 21st century. Our mission is to educate and inspire the construction and design communities on the benefits of using load-bearing stone and natural stone bricks.
In the ever-evolving world of construction, stone remains a symbol of timeless beauty, durability, and strength.

The Stone Collective are seeking support from Developers, Foundations, philanthropic individuals and companies who are committed to positively changing the way we build our future.
These ‘silent partners’ are aligned to the Collective’s mission to decarbonise the built environment.
Our supporters will be thanked across all outputs and receive invitations to our events.
Pioneers
We are inviting aligned Pioneers to commit to joining our mission. These new members will be drawn from Quarry owners, manufacturers, tool makers, After-care specialists and Main contractors.
Pioneers will be invited to; all our events, contribute to the books, have a presence on website and social media, the chance to contribute to the direction of The Stone Collective, participation as speakers at our events, be part of research committees, support developing local strategies for stone use and support developing CPDs
Our Ambassadors
The Ambassadors are invited members of the Collective acting as a sounding board and peer review group. Split into specific focus groups: sustainability, engineering, architecture they will offer pro bono advice and give strategic direction.
This group of aligned engineers, architects and academics will function as stone ‘ambassadors’ to help share the case for stone, acting as engaged members of the Collective ‘think tank’.
